About Doug Battista

A seasoned professional, Doug Battista offers more than 25 years of considerable achievements. Doug is a leader whose career has spanned across a variety of companies, industries, and geographies.   

Prior to his current work as a Coach/Consultant, Doug led the turnaround and change management efforts for Jenny Craig North America, a multi-million-dollar omnichannel business with 500+ retail locations. Through his efforts and leadership, the company transformed from a loss-making entity to a business that was highly profitable and led to a successful Private Equity exit.

Before accepting the role of President, Doug served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Curves Jenny Craig, a Company with thousands of locations throughout the world with employees based in U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Spain, France, United Kingdom, and China.

Prior to his CHRO role , Doug Battista worked for Jenny Craig’s former owner, Nestle, where he led the Talent Acquisition and HR Analytics departments.  In his successful career, Doug Battista has also worked in various operations and human resources leadership roles for Aramark Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.

The career of Doug Battista began at Niagara University where he earned his B.S. degree.  Doug Battista also earned an M.S. in Organizational Behavior at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

On nights and weekends, Doug Battista enjoys spending time with his wife and son.  He stays fit through exercise and Yoga.  A native of Western Pennsylvania, he enjoys cheering on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Doug is also a fan of the Los Angeles Clippers.
